800 dragons 8ooxps

it's hard to believe that mr. skidoo in grand lake,co and the polaris r&d guys in pinedale wy that ride and design these new sleds can't come up with a better product without all the problems? skodoo: choked air intakes, broken shafts, belts, no venting, heavy steering polaris:air box full of snow, screwed up injectors that give it a hesitation, same HP as 700 dragon Would you by a cycle, car, mower, power tools, boat that wouldn't operate properly from the date of purchase? I'd demand my $ bac!

It has been terrible the past few years. You can't buy a sled without having major problems. Just like the old days, drive it for 3 hours and work on it for 2 days. I would say the early 2000's and even late 90's sleds were all very reliable. I put 1 belt and 4 plugs on my 2001 XC 800. Never touched anything else in 4 seasons of having the sled. Also had a 99 XC 500 and that sled was bulletproof, you could easily get 7000 miles on one now your lucky with 2000.

Easy guys, don't talk to loud, there are guys on this forum that will lynch you ! I think Yamaha is what your after, LOL !

What? Buy a heavy Yammi dog? Naw, don't want to strain my back lifting it when it gets stuck, and have to carry extra fuel due to their smallest gastanks in class. What a joke! Suspensions that are mediocre at best to say the least.

I'll just stick with buying what works for me, and keeps on going all the time. 600-700 Polaris.
