800 Dragon wont start

L
Dealing with a later 800 Dragon, I believe its a 07-08 stock with a new top end, maybe 100 miles on it. started it to move it yesterday. started on the second pull, idled real low ( gauges wouldnt even light up) so i brought the idle up to 2000 for about 30 seconds and it was fine after that. Ran long enough to hook u and pull the trailer out of the garage, unclamp and drop ramps, temp was 110. drove it off the trailer and about 50 yds to another trailer to load it on and it died. it will not restart. pulled on er for about an hour. plugs were wet, but not fouled, swapped them out with new, and still wet. Im assuiming since its getting fuel, its not a issue with the key or kilswitch, ( which I also checked ) . ended up dragging it up onto the trailer because it had to get loaded... not fun.

Any Ideas where to look next?

You can find a pdf manual on the first post of this thread.

The stator physically is located on the engine on the opposite side of the primary clutch under the recoil start. You will see a bundle of wires coming from it up to the ECU. Take the cover plate off the ECU and there will be connectors you can open up to read back towards the stator with an ohm meter. The resistance readings are listed in the schematic found in chapter 12 2008 IQ CFI Engine Harness.

I'd pull the plugs, premix some fresh gas and oil and put a little in each cylinder. Put new plugs back in and then pull the rope. If it doesn't fire now you know for sure its not a fuel issue.
