800 cylinder markings

My brother-in-law and I have the same sled, 2012 pro rmk 800's. Last year, I noticed that there were different markings on the mag side cylinder of our sleds. The O in the polaris casting on the outside of the cylinder is paint filled in red on my sled. My brother-in-laws is paint filled yellow.

What are these paint markings?

I think it's the injector color code.
