800 choke problem

Fired up my '05 800 Renegade for the first time this year and found a problem with the choke. Starts up with normal 1/2 choke but, even after warming up for 10 minutes, it won't idle with choke off. In fact, it won't run on the trail with the choke off completely. I can keep it running with thumb on the throttle at 1/2 choke but the second I switch the choke off, it dies.

Any quick ideas of things to check. I run Stabil through the fuel system when storing for summer. Never had problem before. I haven't cleaned the exhaust valves since new (2800 miles now - I know, should have cleaned them miles ago) but I can't imagine exhaust valves causing the problem. Any ideas from you Doo guys? My other 3 sleds are AC and never had this problem.

Your PILOT jets are plugged.

pilot jet was the problem

Thanks for your tip. I cleaned the pilot jets, main jets and sprayed the needle jet with carb cleaner. Problem gone. The sled idles like it was new.
