8 tooth drivers

If the cooler has been moved ahead on a Nytro to accommodate a 3" track with 7 tooth drivers; would there be enough room for 8 tooths with a 2.5" track?

on wahl bros web site the 7t are 6.55od and 8t are 7.50od , So I doubt it myself cuz the real limiting factor is the jack shaft. Not positive but when i did cooler mod to mine I forgot parts at pauls and the jack shaft was closest thing. Would be close though

If the above dimensions are correct, it should work, I just put a 162x16x3" in my 08 nytro, with heat exchanger delete around 7 tooth avids and I still have about 1/2" clearance from lug tips to jackshaft (which is the closest point if the front heat exchanger has been deleted.

Yes this will work 100% I know of two sleds running this set up with the cooler mod. You do gain track speed big time as well.

Longhorse, who's delete kit if ya don't mind?

I bought the sled with it already installed, it has a VanAmberg Tunnel but I believe it is a CR Delete kit. It's a pretty thick piece of aluminium that bolts and rivets to the sides of the diecast sub frame assembly.

If you ride the steep and deep, 8 tooths are hell on belts unless you gear back down. Been there and done that.

We found that with a shockwave helix it was easy to adjust this problem out never really had a belt issue in any conditions did find it was to fast in trees so we droped top sprocket on tooth which made the speed a little more managable.
