Anyone try a timing key on a 700 dragon?

I know it helped out the 800 a lot, anybody have any input on advancing the timing on the 700cfi? Thinking I'm gonna try 2.5 degrees.
If it works on a modded 2011 800, well then.................
I would check to see where your sled is at first, before considering altering it, I.M.H.O
Advancing the timing on the 2011 800 involved raising the jugs up with a spacer at the SAME time as the timing advance, NOT just the timing advance alone.
Advancing the time is all well and good until it detonates, and you end up w/holes in your pistons, and then it's not fun anymore..................................................................................

I understand the risk of detonating, just wondering if anyone has been down this road. If it requires any race fuel I wouldn't waste my time.
