'09 RMK 700 my dealer substituted secondary spring 7043150 instead of stock 7043063. I'm only pulling 7900 max rpm with new belt. Alignment & deflection are good. I'm thinking it's the spring. Anyone else encounter this spring?
tour clutches apart today...found sheeves on primary were real dirty. Dealer must have missed it. Cleaned sheeves, washed belt in hot soapy water. Reassembled... now pulling 8200 RPM which is right where I wanted to be. Don't overlook the simple stuff & never have a dealer install a new belt, they won't take the time to wash it.
I just ordered a secondary spring for a 08 700 RMK and got the same thing, the 7043150 spring.
Did you find the 7043150 spring quite a bit shorter than the original spring? I was surprised it was so much shorter and am now questioning using the 7043150 spring.
