700 RMK... BB vs Turbo

Planning on doing a full overhaul of my 700 Rmk and I'm looking to up power but keep reliability. I've heard good things about both turbos and BB kits... Which would be the better fit for reliability and power? Also any recommendations on what brands to use for either?

It all depends on the kind of riding you do. If all you do is climb hills then I would say turbo, but if you're more into boondocking I would go big bore. I just took my turbo off and went with slps 777 kit. I loved the turbo for climbing but hated it in the trees. Now it needs to snow so I can ride it.

Thanks for the info... I do probably 75% trees/boondocking and only a little straight hill climbing. How was the SLP install? Pretty clean and easy id assume?

Slp is only ten minutes from me so I pulled the motor and had them tear it down and put it back together. While they had it apart they checked all the bearings and crank. Only charged me 250 extra. Saturday will be my first ride with it. can't wait to see how it runs.

Nice. Wish I was closer so I could do the same, for $250 it's cheap insurance. Lucky you get to ride so soon! Still waiting on snow here in SW Washington.:face-icon-small-fro

Took it out for the first time today. I am way impressed with it. Instant throttle response and pulls hard all the thru the rpms. If you can do it you won't be disappointed.
