600's: do they last longer than 800's

How long do they last. Are they longer lasting than the 800's.

Do they have the ring replacement issues that the 800's need?

how do you guys feel about 600's vs 800's.

600 vs 800 is no comparison as far as power goes. As for longevity I doubt there is much difference, with a shorter stroke the smaller displacement may see a little more ring/piston life but there are plenty of 800's with alot of time on them.

I've got two 600's and an 800R.

one of the 600's is an sdi and the other just the HO. both have been add oil and gas only machines. finally had a belt go on one this season. On the other hand, my 800 has been back to the dealer more times than I care to remember. No motor problems with it though

As winter brew said, no comparison on power even though the 600's will get to just about every place the 800 will, you just have to be a little creative on picking lines sometimes.
