600 turbos, where are they?

I'm starting to plan for next season (yes thats right before this one has even really started for me). I figure a whole season of info should get me in the right direction

What I am considering is a 600 Pro with a turbo on it. Around here, the 600 comes in at almost 2500 cheaper than the 800. That should put a pretty nice dent into the cost of a turbo kit

I'm not looking for huge power, but I would like to see somewhere in the 190HP range

Now, problem is, I see a lack of info from riders on 600 turbos. Does everyone have them on the 8's or what?

any info that anyone can get me at this point and for the rest of the season would be so much appreciated

600 turbo 2013 pro being built starting in the next 10 days once the Silber kit arrives. It shipped last Friday. I'll keep you updated.

Last year i was in Mcbride and there was a 2013 600RMK with a turbo on it. The guy was from Alberta Beach, but cant recall in name or shop name.
The sled work really well , would out pull my stock 800 no problem.

600 tbone

My buddy has a 11 pro with a arrow charger that little thing ripppppssssss. lighiter more power and you never hear about 600s having motor issues like the 800s.

he goes by the name "Cooperman" on the forum here. He is from Edmonton and his installer is from Alberta Beach. He has it running better then that trip as it is more dialed in with clucthing so it is preforming very well for a 600. I wasn't there for that trip but made 2 more with him after that. I will try to get him to chime in here with the name of his installer. I know his first name is Gregg but thats all i remember.

the turbo section will have more info on turbos :)

i did one last year. aside from racers it was the first 600 pro turbo i saw on the forums (or heard about anyways). im really like it so far. will out climb 163' 800 with the slp stg 3 kit and Carl's clutching on it at 11-12 lbs on 100ll.

i have a BD non intercooled kit and love it. also a BD dealer if you want to talk about getting a kit lmk.

not sure why they list the 600 as the same weight as the 800 but iirc the motor is a few lbs lighter and majority of that is the crank. 5ish lbs sticks in my mind. 5lbs isnt a lot of weight but spin it at 8200 rpm and try to change directions and the 5lbs adds some resistance.

i did mine for fun to see how it worked out bc i hadnt seen much info on it; IMO doing it on the basis that the 600 is cheaper than the 800 is doing it for the wrong reasons.

So many different opinions out there. Just reading in the mountain section and Guy's are saying that a stock 800 Pro with a 163" CE 3" will hang with a 800 turbo no problem and in most cases beat it.

i got a 3" for mine and my dad's stock 800. going to put his on before mine to see the difference side by side then decide if i want to put mine on or not.

I have built a 600 pro rmk turbo and I sell and build these I have two 800 turbos and the 600 is a way better machine to ride. The 600 loves boost and throttle response and lag is way better then the 800. I currently just put a tunnel and a 163 track on it for a customer haven't rode it yet but should be unstoppable with that track I will keep u posted on our tests with the longer track and upgrades.

His name is Greg with Savage Innovations, he has his shop near Alberta Beach. Greg did the turbo install on my Pro 600. Professional install and looks factory. Also he did the initial mapping and set-up. I am just finishing up today the 163 with Vanemberg tunnel extentions, black Burandt boards with Ice Age rails. Can post pic if any one is interested. PM me if you need his ph # .
