600 PRO R gearing for pulling

We have a hitch on out Pro-R 600 that we use for pulling our Snowcoach. My son is just under 2 so mom thinks she needs to ride with him at this point in the coach.

That being said I have only pulled them a few miles but I am thinking I need to gear down some. How much could I go without really messing things up for when we just use that sled for trail riding? Can I go 2 teeth on top and keep stock chain and bottom gear? Is 2 going to be to much?

Just looking for some advise from this wealth of knowledge on here!!

Thanks

23/39 is stock. To keep the same chain I can go to 22/39 or even 22/40.

So we had the coach out tonight for a ride and my wife rode with my son. My temp was running 135-141 most of the time. When I would get where I could not keep speed up, it seem to really work the motor at slow speeds and then would build heat. I did hit 150 then but as soon as I could hit some fluff and then pick up some speed it would come down fast. Snow is not that bad here I rode the other day without pulling and it ran 125-129.

I am thinking to 22/39 to start.

Are these gears the Hyvo ones? I was thinking just getting something used on ebay or if I could find one on here so I can try it out......

Thanks
