600 or 700 CFI turbo

having a hard time deciding on either a 600 CFI or a 700 CFI. Bolth are very well set up sleds and they are both boondocker race gas setups. info here would be great, thanks

I would recommend the 700 for sure. IMO the 700 is the best motor to date that polaris has put out (we'll see how the new 800 turns out). THe Difference between a turbo 700 and a turbo 800, is minimal. The 800 pulls slightly harder off the bottom, but they have near Identical top HP #'s, and other than the bottom, they run exactly the same. The difference between the 600 and the 700 is night and day though. the 6 is definitely smoother, but doesn't have nearly pull from bottom to top. I highly recommend the 700.

That said, I happen to have a Race Gas 700 for sale in the swapmeet section........if a guy wanted to compare what he was already looking at............just sayin:face-icon-small-hap

Both engines are solid but I would agree with the above poster and go with the 700. I'm on a 800 turbo this year but I am still wishing I would've found a nice 700 for piece of mind. Either way, you are still going to have a blast if you take the time to set the turbo up and double check things before each ride.

i agree the seven is a better choice the six only has two injectors and is limited in how much boost can be ran i have a seven turbo and i had the same question, just go with the seven you wont regret it

I have a 600 turbo, it has no low end. The 700 is much closer to the 800. The 600 is probably cheaper to buy parts for and easier on the turbo, so just depends on the most important factors for you.

Just sent my 700 RGT up to him yesterday. Thing rips! Going to be super pumped on that sled. Unfortunately, I am having some serious post partem depression currently. Hopefully beta testing will be done soon and my new turbo kit will be installed shortly.
