600 iq

dealer has an 09 600 iq short tracker
i might be getting it if i get a good deal
was wondering any thing u like and dislike
what mods have u done etc.

The 600 iqrmk is an amazing little sled. I was very suprised when I rodes my buddies 600/155. Lacks on the topend compared to my 800mod, but then again you would expect that. Boondocking with it is a ball. Floats well and very snappy and can take you most anywhere you want to go, until you point it up something big.

Mods...there are a ton of them out there for that motor and it wakes up well. Given your list of "other sleds" I would think that you would want to just step right up to a carls cycle 660 or 685 kit for it. Those things bring the top end back in to the game. It is fun to beat the 800's with a lil ol' 6

Nevermind what I said. I just re-read your post and you are talking short tracker.... I didn't know they still made short track sleds!!! Can't help you there.

buy the 600, bolt on 800 jugs/pistons/heads, lengthen the track, haul balls

if it isn't the long stroke 600, I suggest going with a 660/685 from Carl's.
