Other half is looking at a new sled for next year, and I am thinking about the 600 etech X with the 154 track.

Anyone have any good or bad to say about this motor, motor /track length combination, etc. etc.

Thanks..
Mark

I've been keeping my eye on the E-Tech as well. Go over to Doo-talk and do a search for "etech". There is a lot more feedback over there. From what I have read, the vast majority of owners absolutely love them. What I find shocking is the number of folks that have an etec for the wife, and an 800R for themselves, yet actually prefer riding the etec. They all say it is smooth, balanced, and just more fun to ride.

I'm torn on the 146 vs. the 154. Manuverabilty vs. floatation.... I've ridden an XP 146 (800r) and it doesn't have any problems in deep snow.

Thanks, I'll go look at Doo Talk, guess more folks there willing to share.

We (I-90 Motorsports) have a 600 etech and have put quite a few miles on it and demo'd it a few times. it works great is smooth, doesn't smokes, and it has great power. Ours is a 154" track "X" package sled, and seems to do really well in the deep powder. It climbs great and is very impressive to everyone we've let ride it. It uses about half of the gas that the 800 xp's use on a deep day.

I bought an 09 E-tech XP Summit 146 for my wife and it is an awesome sled. The power will surprise you. I have an 09 800R Summit X and I would have no problem riding the etec any day. It is a blast to ride and will go through the deep stuff just as good as the 8's. You will not be disapointed if you get one.
