6 tower primary on a 2003 900 M1?

I see there are two different primary's on the same motor?

I have a 900 M1 and when I look at the ZR900 it has a 6 tower vs 9 tower?

I just discovered that my clutch needs new spider rollers and the main spring is broken ( yellow).

I am concerned about getting the spider off and redoing the rollers or replacing a spider assembly. I saw a cheap option with a 6 tower

My easiest option would be to buy a used clutch assembly and swap weights and spring and install.

Anyone put a 2003 ZR900 6 tower on an 2003 900 M1?

I installed a Kingcat 6 Tower Clutch with no problems and worked well on my 2003 900 1M MADDOGWFO

That is a 9 tower in your picture. I run a 6 tower 0746-420 that is a direct replacement for your clutch. Seems to work much better for me.

I have a complete 9 tower off my 03 900 with a new yellow spring and I just put a new spider, weights, and bolts if you want it.
