Still plenty of snow to ride on up there. They have plowed a bit more up the road but there is no where to turn around the truck and trailer. We had to unhook the little two place and turn it around by hand. Good thing it had a wheel on it. So if you are going to head up that way dont take the big 4 place trailers unless you want to back a long ways down to get turned around.

We didn't get started till about 7 pm but we didn't get back to the truck till 10:30 at night. So we still had a good 3 hour ride. The road is still covered because they have plowed further up. Only a few bare spots on the road but can be avoided. Lakes are melting around the edges and all over the lakes now so water skipping is unavoidable if you cross the lake. Just make sure there is not a lip on the edge. We had a close call. Provo River falls is raging as you can see from the second picture. We saw quite the cool sunset will clouds in the distance and lighting shows as it got darker. Pretty sweet ride for June I must say.

Nice! From what I hear UDOT has no money to plow until July 1 when the budget resets, gonna have to be up to those do-gooders with plows till then I guess.

What app do you have on your iPhone to get the track to put on google earth?

It's called Ski Tracks and now has a sledding setting. Best gps app I have seen yet.

Is it free or paid? Who is it by? I was looking in the Android Market and there are many of these types of apps.

You can do that with the Garmin I believe. We just pull the track file from our Rino with the lap top and you can lay it onto Google earth.

I think it was $.99 or $1.99 I can't remember though. You can either email the gpx file or the kmz file. Open the kmz file in google earth.

It is by core coders.

Nice pics. Looks like a good time. So is there going to be enough snow for a 4th of July ride up there?...not that I'll be there to do it...but just wondering.

I can down load from my Garmin Oregon 450 but I am a gadget nerd and wanted an alternative.
