the siphon pumps we usually get don't last too long.
i would get some fittings and hook your air compressor up to it. then all you need is a tube to go from your sled to the barrell and when the barrel is presurized it will move the fuel into your sled.

Those big cheap plastic pumps work good. I've never had a problem with them as far as durability goes. http://www.bayteccontainers.com/siphonpump.html
I got one of these and it works great. Just looks a little funny when you're pumping some out.

I got a hand crank style that threads right into the drum hole for $25 at Northern Tool. Your not pre-mixing in the barrel and pumping it out into your sled as you use it right?

Why not? the barrel has a ring around the lid and the whole top come off in just seconds, stir and pump before each use. Am i missing something?
ended up getting the harbor freight red metal hand crank for 20 bucks and it threads right into the barrel.
