509 Revolver Goggle Reviews?

Any reviews on the 509 Revolver goggles? Any comments on the photochromatic lenses? Just trying to see if they are worth the money.

Wow, no one has tried these?

I have a set of yellow ones I'm using in their Carbon Fiber helmet and am very pleased with them.

They seal up very well. We left on some sub-zero mornings and had no fogging issues.

The only issue I had was when taking them off I knocked the strap loose from the goggles once. It snapped back into place.

I have the limited edition Neon Lime with the green lens and it's my new favorite lens color. It's nice and bright for those darker days and the contrast in color really works for me. To me they are an upgraded aviator goggle with that same big lens view but with a better seal and less curve to the lens. I'm also using the 509 Carbon Fiber Helmet so they fit perfect into that.

I love the idea to be able to open up the lense for ventilation, i had decided to buy them and went to the store but get hesitant when trying them.
I didn't love the plastic mechanism, finicky when locking the lense closes again and limited view, like looking thru a tunnel.
I found an alternative tho that in my opinion is far superior, adds ventilation but still protects the eyes and does not limit view to the sides = Julbo Aerospace.
In my opinion a better google but to each their own.

I've got a pair of the revolvers and like them. The idea of the flip up lenses is cool but doesn't work in the real world. The clips are too small for gloves and I've never flipped them up while riding. I do like how the goggle lenses easily interchange though.

I also laugh at how they all market their lenses as the best material and least apt to fogging. My brand new expensive goggles fog up just as easy as my old cheap Scott goggles. The truth is, water and condensation inside your goggles will lead to fogging. It doesn't matter the material. Just learn to take care of your goggles and keep the moisture away and make sure they are dual pane lenses

And yes I love my quickstraps too
