I've had all my sleds stolen twice in BC now. I rarely ride there anymore. I don't even lock my truck when I'm in Montana, just sayin.....

Another reason why Montana is the best. My wife still has the California mentality stuck in her head after a decade in Montana... still locks everything.
If you were an a$$hole thief you could make a killing here in the winter. Guaranteed to see at least 4-5 cars at the grocery store in the dead of winter with the engine running and car unlocked while someone is shopping inside.

Well I usually would not post this but..... If you wait for the police to find your gear, (that u busted your *** to earn it) let alone the low life slime balls that stole it, forget it. File the police report and fight with your insurance company with no truck, trailer, sled, bike, quad, etc. in the middle of the season good luck, been there done that. I went another route, I invented the Double Whammy its 3 x stronger than bear spray, u get in my truck no problem, start it in any manner the doors lock, and you get a dose of duel nozzle hell fire and brimstone, when my truck starts my cell phone rings, then me and Louisville slugger show up and finish any fight left in the turds. It's happened twice and I'm really starting to enjoy myself. I don't just get mad I get mad and even! (got one in my trailer on a motion sensor and anything I own with wheels has GPS locators that I installed. Mmm... I wonder if there is a market for my Double Whammy?

It depends on vehicle. For my truck I use MasTracker because it stays powered up by plugging into your OBD II port. For bikes, snowmobiles, quads etc. I use Spy Bot because it has its own battery (has optional 6 month monster battery) and only uses juice if motion sensor activates movement, I put them in waterproof cases with strong moybydnium magnets and monitor both types via cell phone. Companies like trackimo are good also as the first year is free and only $5.00 a month there after. Go online there are lots of choices, don't buy ones with tons of options u don't need.
It's a pathetic comment on the interior of BC that you need to resort to these kinds of measures but the reality of the day is that there are a bunch of lazy douche bag mofo millenials who feel they are owed a living because they were born in lotus land. Their parents completely failed them IMO by not teaching how difficult it is to earn an honest dollar and why your word and morals are all you really have. The rest of it is just stuff. I hope that when they are on their death beds they realize they wasted their lives and were nothing more the fawkin waste of skin that they are, but there I go thinking they have an IQ above 100. A guy can only hope.
