440 mxzx jackshaft - zx chassis

Looking to shead some rotating mass on my 02 summit x. Can anyone confirme if the 99-02 440 MXZX race sleds had gundrilled jackshafts?

You could buy a drilled jackshaft from doo for the ZX. Not sure if the races chassis had then the whole time or not. I have one sitting in my garage if you are interested shoot me a p/m.\

It's super easy to tell if your's is gun drilled.

Pop the cover on the chaincase look at the end of the jackshaft, if you see a small piece of cork in there it's drilled.

To confirm this take a piece of wire or straighten a coat hanger and stick it in the end and check how deep the hole is.

My 01 Summit came with a drilled jackshaft.
