4" pivot riser on a ZX

Do you have to legthen any brake lines or throttle cables with a 4" bar riser with the stock bars?

I put 3 inch riser on mine. I don't think I could have gone any longer without lengthening.

I put a 6" riser on mine & had to get the extensions for both the brake & throttle. Make sure you realign your oil pump cable after you are finished. Otherwise............. KABOOOOOMMMM!!!!!

My 01' took an 8" riser no problem, don't know if lines changed in the years, though! My brake line was a little tight until I noticed that the banjo fitting on the caliper side went down then back up, so I loosed the banjo bolt and rotated it up, got me about another 3"!

Had a 6" block on my '01 X, no lengthening required. I do have roundslides, but it was a stock cable for those. And no oil pump. But the brake line made it, as well as the wiring. For the wiring I was still using, anyway (hand grip heaters and tach).

i got an 8" on my 02... dont know if the cables were extended or not.. doesnt look like it..

I went 6 inches on my '02 and had to lenghten everything including the wiring.
