4.80-12 Trailer Tire Inflation

Serviced my sled today (finally) for the season and decided to check the tire pressures on my trailer and my spare.
Printed on the sidewall of the tires, it says inflate to 90PSI cold. 90? Can this be right? I did a google search for this and found three mfg's websites that state the same, but even buying them off the shelf, I know they don't come inflated at 90psi. (and of course they're made in China) Maybe it's right as I seem to go through a set a season. (scrub the tread off)
I'm not sure I want to stand there and inflate them that high <snicker>

i run the 5;30- 12 on my 2 place, used to scrub tires, i checked and the axle wasn't straight with the trailer, then i put 14 inch s-10 wheels and tires on cheaper and looked better

90 psi in that tire is correct. I run the same ones on my Zeeman 2-place. I remember thinking the same thing...90psi? WTF? Then I ended up loosing one that had 35psi in it. I talked to the trailer mfr here in town and Les Schwab - both say to keep them at 90. I usually inflate them at a Chevron station.
