4 154''s in a 20' plus V??

No luck with my search so I'm just going to ask quick...

I found a heck of a deal on a 8.5' x 20' plus the V enclosed trailer but I'm not sure if I can get four 154'' in there? I've been out in the garage measuring mine but I'm not sure how they're going to stack up.

Thanks.

I've used a 22' plus the V but I can't remember how much room there was to spare??

tight fit

it can be done. the front two sleds have to have the rear ends suspended, or up on blocks. the back sleds will then nose up under the front ones. the v gives you alot of space, we could fit 4 without it, but a little longer trailer wouldnt hurt.

Thanks guys. I was thinking the only way it would work would be to pull them in from the front then drag the tunnels of the sleds closest to the front back a foot or so?

neverenoughsnow... you may be right, just wait for the right one!!

Just hate to pass up a good deal!

deal

if it is the deal of the day, and you could use it and still get your money out of it when you sell it, DO IT. Use it till you find the perfect one, then sell it.

load them in from front to back and you'll be fine. pull back end of the two tail sleds in and done.

I just measured my sled again and from the tip to tip it looks to be around 10' 9'' but they will obviously over-lap some and there is still room in the v.

Thanks for all your help everyone.

I think I'll get pick it up.

Just found out it has surge brakes. Anyone have any experience with these? I've always had electric on everything.

Maybe the "hot deal" wasn't so hot!

Don, I would avoid them on a trailer that is used on icy roads.

sorry to hijack the thread, But im wondering if the following sleds will fit into a 27x8.5 vnose.
2010 M8 153-2
2009 XP 154
2008 apex 162
2006 rev 144
2005 M7 162

Not sure if you mean 2 of the 153 cats? Idk about 6 sleds in that trailer, but we fit 5 of almost the exact same sleds into a 27x7 trailer

Is that 27 + V or 27 WITH V? If it's really 22 + 5 foot V I don't think it's going to happen. Have seen 5 in a 24 + 5 foot V and that was crowded and none of them were 162s.

If the trailer is 27' including the "v", then 5 sleds is all you're going to fit (loaded from the front).

If the trailer is 27' plus the "v", then invest in some moving blankets (for the rubbing) and again load them from the front, 6 sleds will fit tightly but it'll work.

ive had them before, mine need some attention every 2-3 months, tighen a line and/or fill up the oil res...elec brakes are much better for many reasons, but when you get a bacd wire in your elec brakes...it can be a mother trucker to find that bad connection:face-icon-small-dis
