3500miles and she finally broke..

Crank finally went out on my 09 D8 after 3500miles. If anyone has a bottom end or complete motor let me know please.

Was that the original motor? Did you do a "fix it kit" or anything of the sort. I'm so torn right now on what to do... I have an 09' D8 with 845 miles. I believe it's original motor I bought it with just over 300 miles. It has had the 10' updates but that's it.

I bought a Nytro this year but it's just not the same. Thinking of doing a "fix it" to the D8 or selling the dragon and turbo'n the nytro... biggest issue is it costs a damn fortune to make the Nytro a real mountain sled... $4k+ for turbo, $2-3k for skid and track.. $1-2k for front end and shocks.. blah blah blah...

So long winded, how did your dragon last so long? :face-icon-small-hap

--Sell the Nitro and get a used Cat T1100 this Spring for cheap --box stock turboed, lighter, and handles great
