321115 belt break in?

I just received my clutch back from Indy Dan and had him set it up for the 321115 belt. I understand you need to break this belt in? Searching the web I have read different suggestions. Any suggestions? My sled is a 06 SB 900.

" First of all, wash a new belt in warm soapy water in the kitchen sink. Then clean your clutches with a clean rag and contact cleaner. Then go for a ride and try to ride on hard packed snow or in somebody elses tracks for about ten miles. After that just ride normally without long hard runs which would cause extreme heating. At around 30-40 miles your new belt should be good to go. "

i did similar, what i did with my new belt is at the end of the day off the mountain(about 10km of trail) i put the new belt on, so its nice and easy.

50 miles of easy riding. I have several new belts on hand and if I am going to be doing mostly trail riding on a day I put a new one on and break it in. Then I switch that to my spare so I have a broken in ready to go belt for a back up. Never had to use my back up since switching to 1115 though. Never wore one out yet :face-icon-small-hap
