300 XCW forks

Wondering if I should get stiffer fork springs for running a TS kit on my 16' 300 XCW. The forks are setup perfect for our rocky / rooty New England terrain but I'm thinking even on the stiffest setting they aren't going to like being thrashed on the snow. Should I just go with the XC springs or get something slightly stiffer?

Depends on your riding style... I would at least valve to get more of a range... But I find I go with some of the stiffest ones I can find mm the xcw is pretty soft.. ho heavy are you and are you a jumper

190lbs with gear on. No huge jumps or cliff drops.

I found going up about 5 rates was about right on my 530xcw, from a 5.0n/mm for summer use to 6.0n/mm to get normal fork sag numbers. This is with a Timbersled LT with no TSS. Slavens Racing has a good selection of really heavy fork springs in stock, if no Cannon Racecraft is also a good option.

So for me on my 450r 06 forks with TSS on an Lt 0 I was going to a .58 from a motocross .54 this season and valving. But I am 250 with gear but similar riding style.. I woukd say at least a .54 . I find the Lt creates a little more front fork pressure..
