300 mile report + bumper failure

Vanamburgs new rear bumper goes all the way to the front suspension mount. (Suspension bolt does not go throught it, plate just goes up to it.) Very stout.

^^^ X2 on the VE Rear bumper (and Boondocker Front Bumper, for that matter). It's one of the few that actually bridges the crumple zone and adds structural integrity to the rear.

Here's a couple of pics (the second pic was the prototype and didn't have the full cutout for the running board mount):

I really like the idea of stiffen up the tunnel with the cat bumper but in all pictures I`ve seen of those who mounted is that they seems to stand out alot from the end of the tunnel.
My theory is that if you mount them from the end of OEM bracket and backwards they will stick out pretty much, opinions?
Would be glad if anyone post pictures of their Poo/cat combo.

Looks sweet, guess the tunnel feels more ridgid now?
Was it enough space to reassembly both bolts from the OEM bumper?

Yeah. The tunnel feels very stout now! I did get the four stock bolts back in also.
