3'' track on nytro

somebody on here or on totally yamaha put a 3'' track on a nytro with out deleting the front cooler please help in locating persons or thread thanks,a.b

That was my thread. It was allot of work to relocate but It seems like a pretty cool track. Unlimited traction at lower speeds, once the sled is plained on top I dont think it has much over a 2.5. You have to put the upper aluminum sheilding right against the jackshaft and the cooler is so far forward you can just get the oil filter off. Relocating the cooler involves cutting off the lower inlett from the bypass cercuit off and relocating back some with a screw in pipe thread style. Not an easy task but doable...

thanks for the reply, tripple , the guys that went from the 2.5 to the 3'' really made up some ground this year on there 2-smokes ,thinking about doing this mod for next year plus a air sucker,stage 2. running 174x 2.5 now ,i think the three will give ya a awesome launch and great threw the trees. if you happen to have any pics please pm me thanks ..,k
