Offering 13 separate auctions and No Reserve on eBay, 3 Ski-Doo Summit snowmobiles with shorter lug Camoplast tracks from 1.25” to 1.5” so they can be used for trail and off-trail riding just like Ski-Doo Renegades. We are also auctioning oil, parts, and accessories because we are getting out of snowmobiling.
All sleds offered with initial bids below NADA Average Retail Prices.
Ski-Doo Summits are excellent trail sleds because they have softer suspensions than a Renegade so shutter bumps are absorbed.
If the links do not work, please see all of my snowmobile auctions by searching by my user ID roystrom. We are selling all three of our sleds and accessories. We use to ride 3,000+ miles a year – half out West in the Rockies and half in the UP. This was before the high gas prices. In addition, I can’t take time off work to go riding with my current job situation. So, we have not been riding much in the past couple years and decided to sell everything and pursue other interests. We are selling 3 snowmobiles, oil, gear, and accessories.
These sleds are adult owned and we are the original owners. I’m 54 and been sledding since I was 16. None of the sled have been in accidents and the engines are all stock. The sleds were trailered in a 12 foot Top Cap enclosed snowmobile trailer so these sleds were protected from salt and road debris.
Some people may wonder what someone in Illinois is doing with a Summit Mountain Sled. Besides riding up north, we use to make a trip every year to the Rockies. Summits are excellent trail sleds. They have softer suspensions to absorb the shutter bumps and they don’t have darting problems like other sleds. The paddle tracks give better traction and provide virtually no track spin on packed powder than typical tracks. The aggressive gearing provides superb acceleration in the trails. I have also had excellent luck with the dependability of my Summits. Of course, they last this long because I take care of my toys. These sleds are trailed in an enclosed trailer and they are stored indoors. They are also power-washed after every trip. The suspensions are greased at the end of every season to force the water out of the suspensions.
