3" power claw on axys?

Yes someone has, required custom length rails. "CO powder" I think his name was?

I really like it but don't have much to compare too. My 11 pro had the PC 2.25 when I bought it. I have ridden a stock 13 pro and found the PC was better.

I have a few ?'s
Do think a 162 p claw will fit on poo 163 axys?
Do u think a piped axys would spin the 3" p claw?
What does a 3" p claw weigh?
Has anybody compared a p claw 3" or 2.6" to Polaris 3" or 2.6 on stock sleds?

Piped/clutched AXYS will spin it no problem.

Yes there are a few people on this forum that have put the claw on poos, both the pro ride and axys.
Great improvement.
CO 2.0 put one on his 156 axys, that required customized rails.
If u have a 154 axys u can force a claw on stock rails.
154- all pro ride and axys 2.6 track
156- 3in track.
Polaris has never made a track that was 155" sorry, They just wanted to pretend to be longer than skidoo.

I put a 2.25 153 PC on my Axys with the 8 tooth drivers. It would not fit with the stock rails. Swapped the rails from my 13 pro to the axys (same sled the PC came off of) and it fit but just barely. I also feel the 8 tooth drivers geared the sled up a bit to high. It's definitely faster than the stock 2.6 but definitely produces more belt heat due to the taller gearing. I think if I punched the track and ran the avid 7 tooth drivers (which I have sitting in my garage) that would be the best overall option. Although I really prefer the 8 tooth drivers, with those, I think the quick drive needs to be geared down to be most efficient, which means an aftermarket belt drive. Those can have their own issues. Undecided on what I end up doing for next year, might go back to the stock setup simply for the ease of things and that fact that the stock setup works really damn good. Although that doesn't take into consideration of the brand new, never use, 3" 153 PC I have sitting on my garage floor....

They are 154.44 so call it whatever you want. Once its atreched a little its 155. Beside that i didnt know the 2.6 rails were different than the 3.0 rails?

Skidoo and polaris both have 2.86 pitch for their ~2.5in paddles so track lengths are equal.

This is not toward u ullose272, toward the manufacturers, my grade school teachers taught me to round to the nearest whole number, ie: 1.5 =2, 1.49=1

Like Ford with the 302/5.0L it's 4.94L but the 300 6cyl is a 4.9L and is 4.91L

Skidoo's 154 3in is a 153, 163 3in is a 162
Polaris's 155 3in is a 156, 163 3in is a 162

Yes the rails are different length because of the different diameter drivers between the 2.6 and 3" track.

Does the PC 3" work better than a X3 or X3.2? I have a feeling after next year I will be in the market for a new track as the durability of mine has been crap. Yes, I ride on snow, yes I know i've hit some stuff, but I've talked to several others that I know and ride with that have hit way more stuff than me with no missing lugs. I am currently missing or have chunked out somewhere between 12 and 15 lugs. Love the track other than the durability part.....

Depends on the snow conditions and person you talk too. Keep in mind the 3"PC is not actually 3".

I've seen the pc on poos since the track came out. We had 2 identical dragon 800s only one had a 2.25 pc mine had a 2.4 off a 2014 pro, and the pc performs better in just about every situation especially in the deep and steep. I have the 3" pc on my proclimb and love it year round. I run with 2axys sleds and imo the pc track would be one of the best upgrades for those sleds.
