3" on nytro?

pretty sure you have to remove the front cooler. VAn Amburg makes a kit to do this, but it involves removing one side of the bulkhead to get it done. Then they put a rear cooler on.

i have a 174x16x3 ce on my nytro now. no front cooler and arctic cat rear cooler tied to the stock tunnel cooler

Did the 16 fit without any mods?

The 16" is tight. When I installed mine I had to grind down some rivets and reverse some bolts. Nothing too difficult though.

How much space on either side of the track once that's done? Could it still rub the tunnel if it walked a little side to side?

Yes. Not much space left, I think the stock Nytro tunnel is only 16.5, maybe 16.75 wide. I didn't like mine at all, back to 15's for good.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll try it as a 16 first and cut it to a 15 if I don't like it

The 15 handles a lot better and is more fun to ride. The 16 wanted to be upright or on it's side, no in between handling. As far as capability, I really can't tell a difference, the sled does just as good.
