3" on a 13 assault?

Can u put a 3" on a 13 assault. We already stretched it from a 144 to 159. Looking at the 162 3". Will that work with the smaller drivers and big wheel kit? What is recommended for gearing and clutching? Will a pro rmk shaft and drivers fit with the standard chaincase on the assault? Or just getting drivers for the assault shaft. Thanks in advance for any info.

You would need 7 tooth drivers for the assault shaft. I think the chaincase would need modified the clear the track. A big wheel kit would probably make it work. I went from 156 to 159 with a big wheel kit back in the day

First of all you'll have to modify your chain case so that the track won't rub on it when you put on smaller drivers. You can get a offset axle that will take up the extra track without going to a bigger wheel.

How much modifying we talking? What is the difference between a pro rmk chaincase and assault? Could you do a 2.6 rmk track with pro driveshaft and drivers?

the chain case mod is very simple the last one i did cost me about 50 bucks for the welding

It's the switchback assault so it has the intro drivers without the center driver

OK how about the Polaris 2.4 track on larger drivers (stock size)...can you do that without chaincase mod and still have clearance for the track?
