3" 174 for apex...anyone done one???

I purchased a 3" 174 for my tapex. Just wondering if anyone has removed the front cooler to avoid rolling the chain case. Is it possible or do I need to drop and roll the chain case and keep the front cooler.

Any info would be very useful.

Mines dropped and rolled, only other ones I've seen have extended chaincases. Avid and Split Second.

I'll throw up a pic in a couple days, will have my project done.

When you do a drop and roll , you can only use 7 tooth drivers because of the jack shaft in front of tunnel now , if you go with a extended chain case you can use 8 tooth drivers.

Nice part of the drop and roll is using all stock parts and stock chain length. CR Racing has a template kit you can buy for approx $250. Comes with a few parts that are needed, bearing, bolts, rivnuts, etc, etc.
