Hm turbos is proud to announce the 2nd annual Turbo Days April 2nd, 2011 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm mountain standard time. Lolo pass visitor center is located 32 miles west of Lolo,Mt on highway 12 West. With over 100+ inches of snow to ride on it should prove to be a very fun gathering. We will have turbo charged Polaris Pro's with and with out our water to air intercoolers on pump gas and race gas mix for customers to look at and test ride. We will also have the 2011 Ski-doo e-tec turbo charged as well for people to check out and test.
Last year was a lot of fun with interest from all over the North West. The facility has a heated lodge and restrooms with lots of parking so get there early as it will fill up fast.
If questions arise please call 1-406-273-6111 and ask for Shane or visit our web site for further information on this gathering.

Thanks for the invite Shane, I will talk to Chris and we will see if we can make it I don't know how that will fit in the hill climb schedule but it sounds like fun. Glad to here that you have your pro's dialed.

Hey guys, I'm so ready to ride the intercooled PRO I can hardly stand it, and the E-tec kit should be pretty sweet too. Is kelly gonna make that soup she made when you guys went to get christmas trees, i love Kellys soup!!!

Dont know if I can wait another month before i get a chance to ride one of these sleds.

Which Turbo Kit to Buy

I have seen quite a few posts from people asking about which kits are good. Well, there's nothing like seeing and feeling it for yourself. The second annual Turbo Days is going to be held this Saturday (April 2) on Lolo Pass. Come ride one of the HM kits on a new Pro and see for yourself. The ease of install and the fit and finish on this kit are second to none and the performance of the Aerocharger can't be matched.

ps. I understand there's going to be a pretty good party afterwards.

It was PISSING rain in the valley this morning.

My dad and I unloaded at Lolo Pass this morn at 8:00.
JUST turning into snow at the Pass...JUST barely starting to stick to the asphalt.

Turned into HUGE alligator flakes and was sticking like crazy. It was REALLY wet, (except for my Motorfist stuff :) ), and could go anywhere.
Wet and heavy. The underlayers were soft, with about 6" of wet heavy on top of it.

Made for some fun riding.
We got back to Harts deal about 10 or so...and they were just leaving. He said they'd be back in 10mins, but he never did get back before we left.

Met a couple of Washington forum users for the first time in person. Curt from Fastrax and Mack29 (?). There were probably more, but we don't go around with forum stickers on our foreheads. LOL
Good to meet you two, and the rest of the guys with you.

How did the Canadian with the King Ranch truck and the "Dan Unda" accent end up liking his new turbo? Sure wish we could have stuck around.

He mentioned it's a 10 hour drive back north so we'll know more when he's in front of the computer.

AWESOME!!!!!

He was funny. He went to start the sled the first time and said "You just turn this key right here and it goes?"
LOL

You got that right Cobaltpilot...I am completely pooched after a 10hr straight run home....but a lot nicer with the new boosted sled on the deck!

I am going to cheat a little here and basically cut and paste my post I just made on the PRO threads. I already got accused of being a "paid advertisment" by someone...not sure if he was joking or not. But those ofr you who know me or have met me know that i just tell it how it is...if I was dissapointed, you would know, i have no reason to lie.

it blew my mind...was far more user friendly and - more importantly - responisve to my style of riding - than I could have imagined.

had a blast out there in montana...got myself the fanciest jacket an man ever has seen, and didnt have to cross any lines to get it.

I will tell you this right now...Shane Hart is a guy you want to buy a turbo from. 'cause he will not stop until that thing is working perfect. I was so highly impressed with the whole gig - right down to him taking is SUnday morning to help sort my sled-deck out.

i was very concerned about buying a boosted sled as I predominantly ride in tight tree'd gullies in deep snow. Lag-time has always thus been a concern. I was also unsure how the fuel mapping etc woould stand up to being in and out of 1/4 throttle for long periods of time followed by an instant hit on the throttle to full WOT.

both conerns were aleviated within minutes. The sled wheelies at 6.5lbs in snow to boot.

Shane had that sled running perfect for me within minutes...explained how to adjust mapping according to condiditons etc...adn then I was off.

If you are considering boosintg, you HAVE to take a serious look at HM turbos...call Shane 406-273-6111 and just tell him what you want out of the sled, and then it happens.

I bought a 163 with cammo extreme 2.5", boosted aslong with intercooler (just in case), shocks were revalved for 250lbs, vented, riser.....ready to ride.

I still cannot beleive how responsive and how well that sled works tight in the trees. its the stock power curve, times two.

Anyone wants to try my sled and see for themselves...get your *** to whilstler.

Very much enjoyed meeting Curt from Fastrax too...that man will be getting my business for sure too

I'll take your post one step further...that sled blew my socks off.

For those that do not know, I bought the 163...it has the Cammo Extreme. It was running just a little over 6lbs boost on Saturday.

I took it STRAIGHT into the tight trees and started in and out of 1/4 throttle for a a while, trying to drown it in fuel...then I pinned it. The throttle reponse is instantaneous.

This was my first ride on a boosted sled and I was completely blown away. Its the same power-curve as the stocker, only double the power.

I also had shane install the water/air intercooler. Also he had the shocks valved for my meek 250lb frame.

Clutching was perfect...engaging at around 3900rpm (offical now Shane as I tried her out today)

Guys, I am not being biased...you need to check out HM Turbo's and if you are contemplating a boosted sled you need to talk to Shane (406-273-6111...I remember it off by heart as I have been bugging him for the past couple of weeks).

This guy will go out of his way to make sure your sled WORKS and will share any updates.

I will keep you posted on my future rides....

very sincerely

Longgold

Sigh... Guess I better get a boosted sled for next season... :D[/QUOTE

Damn straight you are Cobalt...My buddy that came with me is ordering one too...He tried to buy Shanes sled, albeit unsuccesfully.

That'l make 3 of us up in Whis, so there should always be at least one of us to ride with, because no one else is going to get wherer we are going.

We've got to get Felix on the program.

Picked up an SLP pipe and Fox Evols for the Assault...interested to see how that pipe works for my now "spring" sled...that is if it ever gets ridden again...going to be hard to ride stock after riding that boosted sled.

I see your ring tone means you are in Mexico...have fun sldding down there.

Glad you got your deck anchored back down.I was the one who talked to you about that when you pulled in the parking lot.

Longgold about that jacket and not doing anything inappropriate you where willing as i remember(LMAO)but he gave in and just traded you,you made my night man you are one funny canadian and am glade i met ya,you still owe me a couple of beers for the deisel,i might have to come up there and collect.lol

Yeah man, what a fun group of guys! Longgold, the look of joy on your face after obtaining that jacket was priceless!:loco: I never have a camera when I need one!:camera:

I'll make sure I have a good right knee next year so we can get out and ride...posing in the parking lot sux:face-icon-small-dis

Awesome to meet all of you forum members over there (Scott, Polhiker etc) and looking forward to the next one!

Curt the gimp

Curt, how long after we left did everyone come back to the trailer?
How much longer should we have waited? LOL

everyone was up and down for another 3-4 hrs as the weather came and went-things started wrapping up by mid-late afternoon. Then the sun broke out of course, a little wind dried the snow right out and the boys were back up on the hill for one last blast!
I think everyone had a good time-I know we did as we always do when we visit Lolo!

Curt
