2Moto on Husaberg 70deg? FE390?

Going to get a 2moto Radix for my Husaberg hopefully in 12 days... I need to know if it will be possible to adapt to my bike. It is currently on an 08 KTM 250SX. I have heard Corey Brewser made it happen but I can't track him down.

Any input??
Thanks

Chris

I'd give Vernal at 2moto a call. He is very helpful and will be able to get you lined up with what you need. They have a couple websites but they aren't the smoothest to work and can be confusing. He can be contacted at (208)869-2054 or he is pretty good at responding to emails if you want to go that route. vernal@2moto.com
Good luck!

Can't get a hold of Vernal.. thanks for link though.

So I'm thinking I should get a KTM520 or something similar.. like the bike that the kit came off.
There is a 2002 KTM 520XC I talked down to $2k... has big tank, 07 suspension, 6spd. 91hrs... I think this would be a good mate? I have rode one before, can pull stumps with the torque.

That 520 would be a good bike on it. I have a buddy with a 07 525 on a 2moto and it does really good. They do during the fuel and seem to overheat once in a while if your running th hard for extended periods of time. I'm sure you'd need a few different spacers for the rear though.

i emailed the 2moto guys asking if their setup would fit my '11 390 and they said no due to the subframe.

Not sure if its possible to 'make' it fit, but just going by what they said, it's a no go :(

Here's the email paste from Bill King:

Jeff,

The kit does not fit the 70 degree Bergs as the suspension interferes with the plastic subframe.

Regarding the HP, the 390 would do just fine. We have many guys running 250Fs and 250 2-strokes

Thanks for the inquiry,

Bill

Thanks for the heads up. I bet I can mod the subframe to make it work. I'll find out tonight hopefully. I was planning on getting a 70deg racing tank for summertime anyway, so having a diced up stocker for the snowbike would be ok

Not going to work... Gas tank totally in the way. Got a hold of Corrie, he said don't even bother.

Back to drawing board... Think a 1987 CR250 would do the job? I'd have to try to make the kit work somehow...

I don't have the money for a TS, and I won't have the time to build one for a while

Used ones are turning up fairly cheap now that the 2015's are out. Keep an eye on kijiji or Craigslist and you can probably find a stock 2011 for $3k.

If I had $3k.. :). I got three mouths to feed!

How about this?

turned a bushing out, hopefully it pops in tonight. Will have to do more fabbing for the conventional fork brake caliper mounting...
