225lb Spring adjustment

Hey Guys,

Just installed the 225lb rear suspension spring.. I have it adjusted to about 3/4 of the shock threads... hard to tell what is best. What do you guys recommend for adjustment for a 200lb rider.. Thanks

You should start with about 1/2" of preload, That's 1/2" of spring compression from the point where the adjusting nut first seats into the top of the spring.
Ride and adjust as required.

It's personal preference and related to where your stand (or sit) mostly while riding, your weight etc...

The owners manual has a good description of preload in it to go by.

This is a good discussion! Since it's somewhat related, how much preload were on our ski springs in stock form? is 1/2" also a good starting point on the front?
