21 850 stator issue

Hey new to me 21 850 expert . I’ll try keep it short without missing anything, seeing if anyone else stumbled upon an issue like me. Went out riding put roughly 30 miles on , the last 30 was giving me a bit of grief going into limp home mode. Pulled up code 1562 (low voltage). Tried to self diagnose by unplugging lights, handwarmers, to see if problem would lighten up. Helped for a bit then the sled shut off completely and would not start back up. Took sled to a mechanic plugged in and was able to get a read off the ecm. Long and behold it needed a coil and stator. Parts came in and was installed. Fired sled back up and ran through the warm up cycle and fried the stator again. What am I missing , where to look next ?

Make sure all the grounds are good. Check for rub throughs that might be grounding in the wire harness. Might also be a faulty computer.

I have the sled at a reputable mechanic , said he had similar issues last year on a sled , was ecm, stator, coils that went on it. Heard once when the stator goes usually it takes a few things along with it.Only difference with mine is that he was able to communicate with my ecm. But still can’t factor out the ecm, it may work but possibly a circuit or something went. I have an ecm on standby just incase. When he put the new stator in and it burnt up after warm up, he hooked up to buds and it was saying everything was a possible fault. I’m definitely leaning towards a ecm replacement.
