2025 Ski-Doo Rumors and Predictions

OK hear me out it gonna be like snobike conversion BUT instead SNOWMOCRAFT
Sled slightly in winter BUT don't let that get you down slap on the greatest conversion kit ever!!! The brand new SNOWMOCRAFT!
Simply detach your paddle track for a Berkley power pump attachment kit get on the water asap with the SNOWMOCRAFT pec . Also sold separately. Was gonna put an emo g but whatever

If they can show qr codes to people to view on the 20th and the public on the 22nd, won't people just post it online? So what's the point?

Edit: Actually, I do get it. More hype. With the ambassadors making these videos and getting people talking. So yeah, good marketing.
In a down market they are doing all they can to generate interest

Did anyone else see the Karl Kuster post on instagram? The clue was who makes the best belt drive system for snowmobiles. Might be going belt drive and dropping the chaincase?

Also, from the VIP release page with the sled under cover - it looks like no more torsion springs and a longer front skid arm.

Dropping the belt drive for Doo would be HUGE!!!!!!!!

Cat and Polaris has a short belt drive since their clutches are at a lower angle compared to a Doo. Wonder has the length and using having to use a belt tension the reason why it took so long to get a factory one?

Polaris' belt drive is a proven design now. Still think they should get a little guard to protect to bottom gear to prevent anything rubbing on it.

I still think it's a G6 thing. Maybe just new motors. We shall see!!!

Yeah if belt drive and chaincase have the same ratio, its hard to feel difference. Most belt drives I have seen, have shorter ratio which makes rider think it makes a notable differece but its actually about the ratio

Why would Doo ditch torsion springs when torsion springs are still dominating snowcross fields?

But theres a lot doo still...

Doo needs to release new 850R or 900etec to compete with 9R on n.a. segment. I mean 850etec isnt far away from 9R but I know you guys can top that easily
Doo needs to redesign front suspension geometry on mountain sleds and all new ski with proper ski rubbr would also be a plus
Doo needs to design a new secondary to replace out dated QRS with roller issues: more reliable, easier to service and easier to change calibration, make it removable without removing the shaft also
Doo needs better glove box design on mountain sleds, make it bigger, water tight, and use heat from engine bay so I can defog my goggles there
Doo needs better linq bags, just copy Burandts bag if lacking ideas
Embbed maps and built in gps for the 10,25 with better maps, it does work trough phone/app but still this would be nice
Add the new 4-piston brake to mountain sleds also

you'd never know the difference between identical sleds, one with a belt and one with a chain drive especially on a soft surface like snow.
if doo comes out with one then great but i'd rather the inevitable cost increase go to something that's worthwhile.
Losing some rotating mass with a belt drive is nice, but it won't fix the secondary that sits too high or the steep track attack angle. Hopefully they fix that stuff on the G6.

Wonder would they ever go back to a lower secondary or are they stuck with it since the RevXP change.

I have no prob with belt drives and any performance gain/weight loss is good though I maintain it’s practically imperceptible so not worth removing a chain drive to replace with a belt drive on an existing sled.
To me it makes a much sense as replacing a factory belt drive with a chain drive. However if the BD comes from the factory and is reliable, then cool.
