2024 and older POO Throttle block problems

I have a 2024 9R with the old style throttle block. I had a '12 Pro, a '17 Axys and a '21 Axys all of which I'm sure had the same throttle block. At least the Axys models did. I know about the ice buildup issues with these and why Poo changed it in 25. I even had the pleasure of gettting one of our guys sleds off a tree after his throttle stuck on startup in the tight trees and demolished the front end including pipe. I'm having issues with my throttle block being too loose on the bars and constantly moving on me at the least oppurtune time. I can't tighten it up anymore than it is otherwise the flipper gets hung up on the body of it as it grows when you tighten it. I never had issue on my previous sleds with this same setup but i do now. What is everyone recommend to fix this? I run the magnetic tether so i'm never untethered but I don't want to be without TSS either. Is there a way to tighten up my throttle block without it binding? I'm at a loss and frustrated.

Check if your throttle block has popped apart. Dissasemble the end plate and look inside as they hook together inside and a hit can have them pop apart and they wont tighten on the bars. They can easily be reassembled and will work fine again as long as nothing is broken.

Yeah it sounds like it came apart, I had that happen on mine. If you want to go aftermarket, TKI is a good option that retains the TSS.

Just go aftermarket. MVM makes a good block. or go with a finger throttle IF you’ve had any experience with one on a watercraft

But yeah if you want to keep yours just disassemble as other said. something’s wrong
