Hard to believe this thread hasn't started yet- it's late January!

Likely in part because snow checkers are still freaking waiting on their 2022 snow checks for all the reasons. My bud just got his boost last week, and considers himself lucky. And also because we're busy riding.

What's in store for next year? Rumors? What do people expect to see in the Polaris mountain sleds?

Not that the wish list that flows here will matter, because most of the planning is already complete. I guess maybe our hopes and dreams listed on this thread could materialize in MY 2024 and beyond.

Certainly we can all hope for Polaris to accept a level of snow check orders they can fulfill by December for MY 2023... so let's talk details on what we think we'll see. Hopefully specific to sleds, and not the pandemic/consumer demand disaster that we currently endure.

They pinched the shock/a-arm wells on the matryx bodywork design for a reason. They gotta be coming up with a really narrow front end at some point. Don't quite think it will be 2023 though...

I would like to see a lightweight electric start eventually.
Just pay Doo for the SHOT licensing already... it's awesome and light.

I’d imagine smart warmers will eventually make an appearance on RMK.
This would be appreciated.

And as I've previously/separately posted, time for a revised throttle block design, for safety's sake!

One other improvement is to refine and improve the side panel interface. The Matryx is a step backward from the Axys.

Agreed on the side panel access.

The twist knobs suck!

Too small to grip.

I’m going to try swapping to the axys knobs.

Shot only works with direct injection.

They would essentially have to license the entire etec design. Doubt that's happening.
