2022 Yeti 129 FR build

thought id share some eye candy from the new build... going for a light weight, side hillin', pillow popping' woods ripper... the kit is strapped to a new 2021 husky fx450.

Big shout out to Dave at cascadesnowbike.com & Darrin Mees at m9suspension.com helping me getting this bike dialed in.

thx, its the Enduristan pannier topper, waterproof soft bag, size LG fits the yeti rack perfectly.

thx.

had a couple PM's asking about the bike set up. Honestly its pretty basic, mostly c3 parts including heated bars, ECU, rekluse, FMF pipe, seat concepts seat, voyager pro etc... im not big on doing a bunch of motor mods for what essentially is my back country tool, keep it safe and stock-ish, this set up gets us going plenty fast.

some misc pics from the bike build.

had to cut a little slit in the plastics for the rad guards to slide smoothly.

Cyclops snowbike light, awesome little thing, run a relay on it so it doesn't drain the battery, you can also see the c3 bar risers in here and the coolant lines. Moose enduro strap for gnarly recoveries.

Yes, i run a fan, lots of guys around here over heat on some of the big climbs, having the fan is much better than having to stop and showing snow on your rads. Ended up having to re-locate the temp sensors in the thermo as the intersected and one got smashed.

Had pretty good results with SRT radiator foam on my old snowbike so I'm testing it out again with this set up, if it ends up choking the bike ill remove it, it just helps a ton with keep snow out of the and moving up towards the battery.

as discussed, the bag fits the cargo rack perfectly and seems well made, we will see if it really is waterproof once i get to use it. plenty of room for tools, first aid stuff etc.

rekluse radius CX, first season on this, hoping it will be as good as i think it will.

probably forgot some stuff

very nice. diggin' the foam around the intake. you'll be happy with the Radius CX. we flog them in the snow and dirt and as long as the free play gain is consistantly maintained, no issues.

was curious how much the scooter would weigh, nice day out, perfect excuse to bust out the tractor...

pretty happy with the number, 305lbs

weigh in notes:
- barely no fuel in the tank, about where the low fuel light kicks in
- no fuel in the spare can
- all other fluids in there, fully functional
- includes tunnel bag filled with goodies
- includes 2 harbor freight straps with steel hardware

thx.

Yep haul the snowbike in there, snowbike is actually the reason i went for the van over another 3/4 ton truck.... so nice to stage out of a van instead of a truck on a nasty day. The van is completely modular, so i can ride dirt in the am, then convert quick and ride snow in the afternoon.

Gotta do some work on it this week(end) and will snap some pics for ya.

Nice build for sure. I am waiting on my new yeti to show. It got sent back to the factory
for a recall. Did yours have a recall issue?

Yeti simply had a bulletin on the torque of the banjo bolt on caliper, Only a few were questionable if they were torqued to spec , Simple to check , thats all im aware of. Yeti is very proactive to address every possible issue as soon as they arrive instead of waiting for failures ,They even pay shop time to check the banjo bolt torque. Yeti is tops for customer service .
