2022 Timbersled Model updates?

Pretty Sure, a 129 RIOT will be in the mix. A dealer that works closely with Polaris has been developing one. (y)

judging by the supply of them this late in the year, its going to take something more than new decals and a 129 RIOT to make a splash.

3" tracks in more lengths and models would be a good start. 3" rubber is nice to have, but no so much the length they offer.
Problem is the commitment Polaris has to make to CAMSO to kick out shorter 3" tracks.

I think the biggest improvement now to my lowered RIOT would be more traction. With only one track manufacturer out there, no after market options. And, Polaris has not led the way in track design in recent times, I think there are better track designs for our bikes/Timber Sleds out there right now, just not a big enough market to tool up to make them.

So do you think a 129 length RIOT would help the traction issue without taking away the playfulness factor....or are you thinking a 120 length 3" paddle for the RIOT?

I love my lowered ARO 3...but really like the way a RIOT has way less ski pressure, and feels more like a dirt bike. The RIOT I rode just gets in more trouble and stuck easier than my ARO 3...which I didn't like.

I would snow check a 3 inch 120. I would rather have a 3 inch 123 or 124. I will not be snow checking a riot 129 Unless it is a 3 inch.

a 3" 120 track would make a great ride, Riot or Aro. The way I run my RIOT, not much difference in suspension between the ARO and RIOT.

Confirmed by Timbersled today!!!:

ARO 3 and ARO 3S in a couple of trim/suspension packages.
RIOT 129-3 and RIOT 129-3S in a couple of trim/suspension packages.

Awesome. Makes sense. Polaris already had the track in that size. Probably really cost efficient for them. I would’ve liked to see something in between but I will probably be snow checking A Riot 3”. Now…just need to figure out if I should go with the S or not.

Anyone know how much more the 3 inch track is going to weigh? Also has anyone compared side by side with the older track to see where exactly a 3 inch performes better? Wondering if the extra weight and grip of a 3 inch is actually worse in some conditions because bikes dont make a lot of power.
