Good choices and if you're undecided as to whether or not to get a clutch kit, I definitely recommend it.

I’ll probably go with Ibackshift. Had Joe’s kit in past and always works great. Like the low engagement speed to.

and how much of a weight savings is it and would you notice it? seems questionable to delete 3 lbs of weight that you'll never notice in exchange for the utility of headlights. when i burn 2 gallons of gas which is about 12.5 lbs lost or 4X the weight of the headlights, i definitely don't notice it.

I never could understand why anyone would delete the headlights. Even if you plan to ride in nothing but daylight I’d really regret it trying to ride out in the dark if I got stuck on the mountain later than I’d planned. It must be for weight savings because I’ve never seen one that looks better without headlights. And how about safety? When the fog rolls in your headlight may not help your visibility, but it’ll help others see you better and vice versa. No thanks.

On the headlight deal. It’s 4 lbs with the shelf under the light removed as well and you can feel it on the sled. I like having a headlight too, it’s great for trail riding...
However off trail in deep snow the stock light creates reflection off the snow coming over the hood. We love to ride at night and I prefer an led mounted high plus a helmet light. And I get to save 4 pounds and create a way to move air inside the sled easier.

Too each their own...I like it with no stock headlight

What do you do different to your Pdrive? And what do the radius boards look like. You should post a picture of your sled. Great build!

Sneak peak. Still waiting for it to arrive. I went with the ibackshift clutch kit. Thanks Joe for the quick shipping! Boondocker exhaust shipped to. Just need the sled!

It’s not bad but getting the connectors out of the factory plug is a just tedious. It’s the same as adding new grip heaters or thumb heater

Take the plug apart, its way easier than trying to get the pins to release.
