2020 Polaris

They must be trying to target a younger generation, or something, with the Khaos because that graphic is probably the ugliest wrap I've ever seen on a sled. Looks like a 5 year old made it. Cheesy....

the blue one is fugly but I like the red

Still love the Grey and Orange colors together..
Wish the PROs had Velocity shocks offered

Looks like Assault Rails ( by the description, "more transfer")

Khaos sounds pretty lame.

sounds like a sled made with parts from the sks, pro rmk, and assault.

don't see how it is better than either a pro or an sks ??

Khaos: For those willing to invite some insanity into their lives, right down to the spelling...

Did they manage to make the EVO RMK lighter than a Pro-RMK, or is it just another small seat and handlebars job like the first? (spoiler: it isn't)

Never mind, just checked the weight, and it's listed at 420 (vs. 412 for the lightest RMK). Come on! It's 2020, and you're still making a "kids' sled" that weighs 50lb more than a '90's Indy Lite? I mean, it looks like a good package other than that, guess I'm just a little disappointed it's nothing more than a parts bin build. On the plus side, the Khaos retains the "most flickable" crown!

So it sounds like the Khaos difference in the rear geometry is how its mounted in the skid. So I wonder if the suspension rails are the same? The reason I ask is I would want to upgrade to the ice age rails and wouldn't mind trying the burandt mod... To me the khaos sounds good, a few hundred bucks more for way better shocks (I do wish they were 5/8" shafts tho), and a lighter more playful rmk. Perfect. Also sound like they did the motor upgrades to fix all the issues this year (centering ring on the PTO bearing, updated mapping, better sealing practice, and update pistons). It's a toss up between a khaos and an alpha hardcore for me...

Quite the interesting rear skid setup they have, i would like to see it up close it alomst looks like the upper bogies pivot from the pics, it is cool as there were people asking for more transfer on the rear skid and it looks like they changed that.. and all those shocks look pretty trick and i bet they work great.... it seems like this sled is a mtn only sort of sled ment to take a bit more abuse with the alu bumper and over structure.. i think they knew they had a big weight advantage over everyone else and they are playing around with it to see what they can do, if i had to guess it prob handels closer to a doo where it lays over super easy and a wheelie monster, i bet the pro will be better for more experenced riders and this will be a "funner" more playful sled for everyone else, just my guessing though... time will tell and we will see how it is :-)

I rode with a buddy and his '18 MC all last week. His 162" Cat and my '18 163" turbo Axys. Probably not wise to post this in an Poo thread, but I'd buy the Cat. That sled shined. My only reservation is there isn't a Cat dealer close to where I ride in case something breaks.

The 18 Cat motor is impressive. The chassis is good, holds a steep side hill and is easier to hold on edge in low snow. Downsides of the Cat are snow ingestion and low slung chassis that buries you in the deep stuff. They're losing quite a few motors due to the snow ingestion and it's not that easy to fix. I'm on the fence for my next sled, between the Cat and Polaris. Won't be a Doo, can't deal with that noodle feel and the steering.
As for the Khaos, all I see is a wheelie monster with ugly graphics. Maybe they hired the Cat guy that got fired when he designed that green mountain cat in 17.

I’m guessing the KHAOS is taking the place of the Assault.
Probably a sled the hill climbers will use as well.
