2018 yz450 reviews???

Any reviews on the new Yami? Haven't heard too much on how they are performing. Looking at picking one up this week. Any feedback would be great. Cheers

I had mine out between Christmas and New Years, seems to work awesome. It’s my first snowbike, and it’s only ever been ridden as a snow bike. Seems to run strong. All I have done to it is engine blanket, thermo-bob, and a CR intake, and handguards. So far so good !!

Oh I forgot to add, the #1 thing I’ll be adding to my YZ next is a new more comfortable seat. The stock one is as hard as a rock !

I've ridden with some. I noticed numerous times, they didnt want to fire right up, warm, and took several rounds of cranking to start. I also made fun of their starter sound!!!
But the owners loved the performance

About a half a turn on the idle adjustment cures the starting issue. Mine rarely turns over more than once before starting.

Its funny how many guys don't even know you can adjust the idle.

Very Happy with mine. 6 days riding on it so far. I posted about a bunch of mods I did in the other 18 YZ thread some good some not so good. Gonna change a few things now that have few days on it.
Good power. Shifting good,starting ok. Swapping battery as it shuts itself off in the cold.

Typical Yamaha efi bike 3-4 clicks up on the idle improves starting dramatically.
