2018 Polaris RMK 800 can I run 8" rear axle wheels on stock axle?

Wonder if anyone is running 8"wheels on stock rear axle on Rmk?
stock rear wheels are 7 1/4"
I have set exactly 8" diameter
Had to change bearing to 6304 to fit
Installed on suspension and looks fit exactly same as stock but is 3/4" bigger in diameter
Gap now between bottom of new slides and flat floor
This gap will be between slide bottom and track clips once installed on sled
Will this create a problem???????
Excess strain on bearings??
do I need offset axle?

Works just fine.

Helps keep the nose down when climbing.

I’ve done it on a few sleds.
 
Same effect as trim tabs on a boat, or denting the hull just ahead of the transom to help lessen porpoising. The resulting cupping of the track will bring the front down. The 3/8" height difference is in effect always throwing the back of the sled upwards so being behind the sleds Center of Gravity it will in effect force the front end down. It will also add friction and add drag which will detract from absolute performance, but most would not notice. Purists would never go that way, but a very common redneck / low budget change. Being a purist, I'd never go that way, there should be some aftermarket offset axle blocks to move the axel up the necessary 3/8" to remain flat with the rail surface.
