It's going to be very interesting as it's hard to figure out how 4 of them couldn't
get out? Maybe just lost and out of fuel?
Hearing on radio they got down in that bottom and got stuck and couldn’t get back out. Will hopefully hear more soon.
At 1700MST they said they were all clear and headed to green rock parking.
At 1702, Carbon SAR is all clear and headed to chains end.
There was a group of guys lost for a few days in the big horns years ago. They all smoked a bowl. Then dropped into a set up, icy bowl. [emoji1787]. They couldn’t get out.
Thanks GOD for SAR !!! we were stuck in the Sierras a few years ago and those guys were GREAT !!! Wouldnt of gotten out like we did without them [emoji3577][emoji3577]
If ya get an InReach just make sure you pay attention to billing and the auto renewal feature.. you can suspend the service when not in use. I think my service automatically turned back on a few months earlier than I wanted..
I suspect they may be able to ride the sleds out a bit later in the season when the snow sets up. Bottomless right now.
On Search and Rescue channel they just reported the 4 snowmobilers and their rescuers that snow shoed out, are back at the rescuers snowmachines and will be headed out shortly.

Search and Rescue Channel?
I would Shirley be part of S&R if I lived in an area that you could git lost in!
Standing corn fields are the biggest danger around here, and occassionally a small child does get lost out there sometimes.
.
Who’s Shirley?
This is what I get with those coordinates....
