Here we go again!!!!

I would like some input as to the bikes you want to see built this year?

I have secured 1- 2017 Yamaha YZ250 2-stroke, and 2- 2017 Yamaha YZ450FX's.

What would you like to see the builds be this season?????

I'd like to see a 2017 E-start CRF450R on Timbersled LT with TSS...or the new Yeti 137 with RRS (or both on the same bikes!)

That new red Bike has caught my interest!!

.

Obviously you got do the 300 on the 2 smoke!

With what you're selling, I'd like to see how the 129 kits do in our snow compare to the short and long.

Some day, somebody has to get a turbo to work on a 2 smoke, so?

why not the new yz250x? Ive had 2 yz250 snowbikes over the years and they rip but the tranny is super short, even slower top speed than a 5 speed race 450. The new x might be too wide though. Im sure it will be a ripper I always enjoy your builds

Definitely going to need a hotter running 300 kit on the 250x if going that way. Friend of mine bought a yz250x this summer and it's kind of a turd in the power department.

I would be all in for meeting you in McCall ID so we could compare my FE501 SnowtechMX with your CMX and Yeti bikes.
Driving to CO is just too far for me though.

I've got a YZ250X. It's an awesome bike. I wouldn't call it a turd. It seems to have about the same power as my old YZ250. They have smoothed out the power band hit so it doesn't feel as powerful sometimes. The real problem would be the gearing. They lowered third and raised fourth creating a huge gap between the two. I lowered my gearing significantly and it helped a ton in the dirt and I still have a pretty good top speed in fifth. Not sure how well it would work in the snow but a 300 kit might definitely change things!
I would think a regular YZ250 would make a better snow bike, especially if you put in a WR 5th gear (and all the power mods!)

I like the close ration tranny. I find that I tend to gear them very high to get the top end speed and a useable first gear. Many builders gear so low and never use 1st. I try to build bikes that run out of power in 5th and will pull 60mph. I have no problems with holding a bike WOT at 50+ mph. on the trail. I also like to keep a 2stroke right, so the close ratio in 2-4 is ideal for my riding style in the trees.

Thank you for you interest in our builds. Keep buying your aftermarket parts and conversion systems from us, so we can continue to fund the projects. Thanks again!!!

Also would like to see one of the new husky 710 super motos set up as a snowbike. Any one going to try one of these?
They are heavier but once you strip them to the bare necessities for snowbiking it would be comparable i think.
The motor should be very smooth at high RPM being a road bike and they make good power. Would be awesome to ride the streets in the summer with it as well!

Can't wait to see these all come together. Super cool to have someone building what we all imagine in our heads. Haha

little yamy build

I would like to see you setup the 250 yamaha with the small yeti and ride it a few trips with stock hp, and turn it over to a 150 lb rider part of the time. Lots of interest in a setup like that for new young riders / novice women riders.....how good can a light bike and kit work.

Them bring it in for engine mods and give us your seat of the pants impression on the mod steps and when you hit the sweet spot, even if its before all the money is spent.

im in on wonder woman also. think if i ever did low hp agian it would be 300smoker and yeti 120. look forward to the ride !
