2017 rebates - what is coming in 2018?

So dealer has some pretty slamming deals on 2017 - like 10,600 for a new 163 regular edition then I can get $400 more off on rebate card -with a 2yr warranty. To offer that good of a deal this early makes me wonder if they have something good coming for the 2018 and polaris doesn't want a bunch of left over sleds- anyone in the know? If 2018 is going to be bold new graphics, I'll save the coin and buy a 2017, but if something good, I want to wait.

I bought a 2016 LE 3" 163 holdover with 2yr warranty for just about $10k right before Christmas. I knew these rebates would be coming for the 2017's but the price was about $3k difference at that time. Maybe I should have waited but there's sure been some epic good riding days this past month.

I doubt these rebates have anything to do with a killer new sled release. I know several dealers with plenty of 2017's sitting there getting dusty.

maybe a triple in 2019, then you have to give it 2-3 years :face-icon-small-disfor Polaris to get it to run right lol

There are dealers out there priced another 1,000 lower then that. If your in the market, do some looking around. Eric

Called 3 other dealers here in Utah. they were all 3 over $11,000 for the 155.

I'm getting a 155 at $10,200 with all fees, just need to pay sales tax then $400 off with rebate so $9,800 plus sales tax. Decided to pull the trigger and if something better comes out on 2018, guess I'll have a sled for sale.

The rebates are crazy right now. Given the fact we've had a really good snow year, can't believe that there are so many sleds sitting at dealers right now. Some dealers are offering four grand off the price of a new sled. Wish I were in the market. People are getting some smoking deals right now.

The deals are crazy. I was $11K out the door with tax for a 17 163.

Dealer told me Polaris is trying to change the "hold over" buying behavior. EG: wait until fall, buy a hold over for cheap, and never consider a new "current model year" sled.

Put another way, they see fall as the best time to sell sleds for full clip. This means they need to move all of their sleds in the spring, to take advantage of the "hype" in the fall.

Normal inventory reduction for higher production models. They stuff too many down the dealer pipe, and need to clear them out to keep the dealers healthy(er). Last year's low snow year is what's driving this - they didn't make fewer sleds for 17, just didn't sell as many as they planned and built. Doo had good sellthrough with the 850, too. It will be the same thing next Feb., too. They aren't taking their foot off the gas - they are going to keep hammering both ACAT and Doo. Just business.

Is anyone seeing good deals in the eastern wa / northern idaho area?

There is a lime squeeze 155 limited edition for sale in St. Paul Alberta for $13300 Canadian. Plus gst which an American would not have to pay. You just need to figure out how to get the warranty.
