2017 mx bikes?

Anything worth waiting for?

Read somewhere to wait on KTM, but after 16 don't see them doing much, maybe air forks?

I'm stuck between doing a turbo MX bike, or going full retard and doing a high hp street bike build.

Air forks is hardly a technology I'd "wait" for. The main issue with 2016 KTM/Husky bikes that I know of is an issue with holding 2nd gear. Several bikes I know of have lost the ability to hold that gear or even shift into it. No real "cause" that I've been made aware of, just a crappy problem. Sucks cause those 16 bikes have a ton of power.

Agree on the air, I didn't really want 4cs either.

Haven't heard about the 2nd trouble. On my old 380 they cheaped out and used a plastic part in the tranny that had to be upgraded. Maybe they're back to being naughty again?

Hopefully the Honda rumors are true. Spring forks, electric and kick start, and hydraulic clutch would be killer

There was a TI tank on there too but I highly doubt any of it makes it to production other than the forks.
Last year that hydraulic clutch was on the bike they were testing in Japan and when the production unit came out they said they wanted to keep the retail price the same and with the hydraulic clutch they couldn't.

Please no air forks ! They are junk ! Just like Fox floats. Pass me a spring anyday !

I want to see a electric start YZ450F ! Add a hydraulic clutch just for fun !

I actually am really interested in the new WP air forks, read a few reviews that loved them compared to all others and if they cannot go flat seems interesting.

I'm pretty sure you'll see air forks on the sxf Ktms for 17, just like the factory edition bikes. That's probably the only big change you'll see on on mx bikes. Rumors are the off road 2017 ktm 500, 450 and 350 will get reworked like the mx bikes did in 16. Should know more in the next few weeks

I was worried about the air forks, but figured if they didn't work I'd get some KB spring for his off eBay. Guess what.....they freaking rock!!! The air forks on my 16sx are plush and I can add or remove air easily. I didn't loose any pressure either.

It's by far best fork Ktm has ever had. I'm not a fanboy just because I have one either. It's my first Ktm mainly because of ****ty suspension, never wanted one. I've got a 14 CRF 250 that I still ride and have had some high end Enzo suspension on a Yamaha. By far, these new Ktm forks are the favorite. I ride 140lbs psi in fork on the track and 200 in the snow. To get that difference from a spring shock your going to need to re valve and pick diferent oil too... It's a huge difference

I took a chance on the factory edition because the Ktm Spring forks suck so bad I knew they'd need swapped out. Happy I did!
